Yes, as far as the content of the new story, there is no problem. The problem lies in the title.

We have the same strategy in principle. I am just telling you to execute it right. You must remember that I have never objected to your "positive strategy". I am all for educating people about racism.

As I have explained to you, YOU HAVE NOT CORRECTED the racist characterizations in the book. A title is an important part of a book so you have to correct the title as well. It is not a sound approach to choose words for the title so that it is extremely similar to the old racist version. I gave you the example of "Little Black Nigger". I revealed to you that when you change the title to "Little Black Nikker" it still remains racist. In the same respect, if you change "Little Black Sambo" to "Little Black Sampo" or "Little Black Sam" they remain racist because it perpetuates the "Little Black Sambo" image. Maintaining the original title as much as possible should not be confused with correcting.

I think you missed the point.
Whether people would associate the two book through the content or not was never an issue for me. My point was that the title needs to be changed for BY TITLE ALONE people are reminded of the old racist book because it is virtually identical to the old version. So you see, there is no contradiction and please don't try to look for it too hard because we would like to come to an understanding and not wasting of time.
