The Japanese archery is not more famous than the judo, the kendo, and the Karate, etc. in martial arts. However, it is the Japanese archery that needs sticking to mental concentration for the style or more beauty in martial arts. People who stay at Uotoshi Ryokan are very lucky. Because, you can see such a traditional Japanese archery demonstration and try to shoot arrow. Uotoshi ryokan propose to the guests special experience. If you can spend about 1 hour for it, you can see traditional demonstration and hear explanation about archery tools and History.(No charge) If you can spend about 2 hours, you can see traditional demonstration and hear explanation about archery tools and History. In addition, you can shoot indoor target for practice . (No charge) If you can spend about 3 hours, you can try to shoot outside target. Because, you have to learn how to do it from the basis. If you'd like to train Kyudo seriously, we would be happy to instruct you. It is required 1000 yen per hour.
