�@Where is Pension La Foret ?

Pension La Foret is located in Yatugatake-Chuo-Kogen,which means Central Highland of Mt. Yatsugatake, at height of 4,300 ft.

Mt. Yatugatake is not a independent mountain, but a group of mountains which is located at the center of Honshuu island of Japan, and it is about 200km away from Tokyo and Nagoya.

Mt. Yatugatake consists of several mountains of over 2,000 m high, and have large area of skirts.
The highest peak of Mt. Yatugatake is Mt. Akadake, 2,899 m / 9,504 ft high.

The highland is always filled by charm of nature.
- In spring and early summer, many kind of flowers and fresh green leaves,
- In summer, cool atmospere,
- In autumn, a lot of trees turns red and yellow,
- In winter, bird watching and winter sports, etc.

Of course, you can idle away your holidays !

  ( Tokyo - Kobutizawa : 150 km, 2 hours )
  ( Nagoya - Kobutizawa : 210 km, 2 and half hours )

• It takes approx. 40 min. by bus (to "Haramura Pension" or "Minotoguti")
  from "Chino" station of JR, Chuo line.
  ( Sinjuku - Chino : about 2 hours by "Super Azusa" express. )
  ( Nagoya - Chino : about 2 and half hours by "Sinano" express between Nagoya and Siojiri. )

  Bus from Chino station :
  6:00, 7:55, 10:00, 12:10, 13:45, 15:35, 16:25, 17:30

• It takes approx. 20 min. by Taxi from "Chino" station of JR, Chuo line.
  (Ask the driver to "Haramura Pension Dai-ichi village".)

• It takes approx. 15 min. by Taxi from "Fujimi" station of JR, Chuo line.
  ( Sinjuku - Fujimi : about 2 and half hours by "Azusa" express between Sinjuku and Kobutizawa. )
  ( Nagoya - Fujimi : about 2 and half hours by "Sinano" express between Nagoya and Siojiri. )
