Pension Facilities
Our grass-covered playground in front of the pension has swings, slides and sandbox. All glass areas up to the height of children are covered with protective sheets for safety. The playroom, next to the dining room, has a lot of toys and children's books.
A coin-operated washing/drying machine is on the ground floor. Please feel free to use it. Detergent is free and provided.
Karuizawa Hospital is the nearest hospital and it's 5 minutes away by car. If you need any help, please ask.
The nearest drug store is located next to Tsuruya, a large supermarket. One minute away by car.
You can use our barbecue grill if available. Please make a request for it. There's also a gas grill on the terrace. For safety reasons, the use of charcoal is not permitted.

- Super Tsuruya: 5 minutes on foot. Big supermarket that has almost anything you need.
- Bus stop (local bus): 5 minutes on foot. Located in front of Super Tsuruya.
- Karuizawa Taliesin: 9 minutes on foot. 2 minutes by car. Theme park with a beautiful lake. Good distance for a walk.
- Karuizawa Prince Outlet Mall: 10 minutes by car. Popular brand goods are sold at good price.
- Karuizawa Prince Ski Resort: 10 minutes by car. Open in winter only. Artificial snow is popular.
- Old Karuizawa Ginza: 13 minutes by car. The main tourist spot in Karuizawa. There's a bakery store John Lennon used to go.
- Harunire Terrace: 10 minutes by car. New tourist attraction in Nakakaruizawa.
- Mt. Asama and Shiraito Waterfall: 40 minutes by car.
- City of Saku: 25 minutes by car. Shopping malls and restaurants. The bullet train stops in this city.
- Karuizawa 72 Golf Resort: 9 minutes by car.
